Haven’t used tidal in a few months but imo it needs some upgrades to compete. The ease of use/navigation + catalog with Spotify made it hard for me to fully switch over to tidal, so I was using both for a while which isn’t worth the money. Not to mention the amount of podcasts and now audiobooks available on Spotify.

would love to see tidal make some podcast deals, i definitely know a lot of the gen z faves that would spend the money to listen to podcast on tidal.

Yep, my favorite part of tidal was that it was compatible with a bunch of DJ softwares I used so I didn’t need to worry about buying and downloading songs onto my laptop, so that’s one big thing they have over Apple Music/spotify. If tidal makes some upgrades to other features I’d definitely go back.
also, since spotify has become a social media now, they have created something that is hard to beat. :(
