They paid local clerks, sepoys, and tax collectors in pounds and rupees—but the wealth flowed out.

When the empire crumbled, the “jobs” evaporated overnight.

All that loyalty?

Forgotten.

All that service?

Disposable.

You were not building wealth.

You were servicing the printer.

Now swap sepoys for software engineers and zamindars for managers.

The money printer distributes through fiat rails.

The longer it runs, the harder it will crash.

And when it does, just like in India post-1947, the paper will be worthless and the pension promises gone.
