Whole situation seems shady 🤷♂️
I like Ray and think he has good intentions but I am starting to second guess myself with how this all unfolded
On ramps are being funneled and then its less surface area for them to target certain companies.
Bisq, hodl hodl or other p2ps are essential now.
It sounds like he probably wasn’t making enough money to offset all the legal regulatory challenges
Did Ray give a reason?
Ray was on a spaces talking about he wasn’t giving any real definitive reasons but said there were several attack vector’s they were experiencing. One was fraud on I believe gift cards that were associated with his platform. I didn’t catch the whole interview.
He talked about it on the citadel dispatch podcast with Matt Odell
I listened to Ray Youssef on the Bitcoin standard podcast and he seems like a good guy with good intentions but it’s obvious that he still has a lot to learn about economics. I’m not really surprised things turned out this way. It’s unfortunate but the markets are Darwinian and unforgiving.
