Hash-rate always lags behind price appreciation. Buying #bitcoin is instant but setting up a mining rig facility can take time. When #BTC  price appreciates, it can become more lucrative to partake in mining (due to energy required to accumulate a SAT) then to purchase #btc .

Due to the current cyclic nature of #Bitcoin, what happens by the time the mining rig facility is complete is that either the #btc price has depreciated or is performing bearishly.

Either way, increased Hash-rate is great for the security and strength of The #Bitcoin network.
