One of the great questions I was asked by nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 over on #nostrnests was how do we bring more content creators and general users to #Nostr and in my humble opinion that is: cultivate our viral potential.
There are three ways I know to cultivate viral potential and one of them Nostr does well already and that is “timeliness” (seeing what’s current and trending). The second is shareability (ease of sharing outside the clients) and the third is searchability (being able to find the content you want - either through direct search or setting filters or smart suggestions). With those 3 things, content creators will start moving this direction and sharing out to the dinosaur platforms to bring their dedicated audience with them.

I can’t help but wonder if content creators are really what we need more of? At least not in the way we think of them on most social media sites.
Family/Mommy vloggers, the same repetitive “trend” videos, etc etc etc, everything that goes viral now feels like such garbage, at least on the book, insta, clock platforms.
This reminds me a lot more of Reddit in the sense that it’s a lot easier to dive into niches, hobbies, special interests.
