I think paying for this shit is incredibly dumb and I would never pay for something I can get for free, but the people who do pay for it

like it because money is a type of communication and giving someone money in exchange for pictures feels like it’s a direct, 1 on 1 type of communication. There’s a sort of exclusivity factor that makes it *feel like* a more personal experience - rather than watching videos that you know anyone can watch at any time - even though it’s really not.
