It’s a type of dance music that originated in chicago in the 80s and has since evolved into dozens of sub-genres (tropical house, tech house, bass house, etc). Typically it carries a steady baseline around 120-126 BPM and has a few bass drops in the song. Swedish House Mafia is possibly the biggest house artist people have heard of, but they have a unique sound compared to others that strays from typical house music. Here’s a few of my fav songs:
