Consider following nostr:npub1qjtnsj6hks7pq7nh3pcyv2gpha5wp6zc8vew9qt9vd2rcpvhsjjqydz44v not for the amount of followers he has, as he gamed that, but for what he reveals about #nostr and what he suggests could be done to strengthen it and in turn our web of trust. #wot

Interesting read.

I’m all for relays requiring micro-payments to post, i.e. PoW, where the work has already been done (Bitcoin Lightning) to incur a cost of spamming the network. I would prefer to use paid relays so I don’t see that kind if spam - as I would also like NSFW content removed by relays as a service.

Also, a “count of followers” should be less important that some form of web of trust metric.

I agree that follower counts is only one metric, and I’m glad that it does not hold as much weight on nostr as in platforms. Some clients don’t even display it.

I look forward to the ideas that may come related to our web of trust, so far, that means getting cleaner feeds, and much stronger conversations.

The beauty about #nostr is how it’s discovering and implementing multiple solutions, which we’re already seeing, so it’s not a one size fits all.

What else do you hope to see?

I'd like to see (in nor particular order):

- Zaps that are not dependent on LNUrl :-)

- User defined algorithms

- Improved performance

- NSFW content filtering

- A solution for decentralised video hosting

- Read message tracking across clients

And specifically in nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955:

- Account switching

- GIFs/Memes

- Integrated wallet
