Long day with family today celebrating the life of my great uncle Buddy who lived to be 99 years and 9 months old.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 75 years. Their marriage is in the top 0.1 of 1%, with only 1000 other American couples reaching this milestone. ❤️

Grateful I was able to visit him 10 days ago and say goodbye. He was still very present, and told me to “live a life of enjoyment”.

Wise words from a special man who was humble and kind, and always told his family and friends how much he loved them.

His last name was Block. His younger brother, my grandfather turns 90 this Sunday.
