As, I connected my LND node to Alby Hub, but Alby Hub would not let me continue until I signed up with Alby. If this is so, I think you all need to let people run it without having to have an Alby account.
Currently this is still the case, yes.
But this requirement will be lifted and the account and all features that come with it will be optional.
We just did not finish it, yet.
We first worked on the flow with LSP channel suggestions, email notifications, etc.
Thanks for letting me know. I will wait to hear when that requirement goes away.
