My local credit union just sent me a check for $3.42 since “NYDIG sold the bitcoin in my account” even though I never had a Bitcoin account with them.

What the fuck are these people doing? 🤦‍♂️

I did have a small USD acct with BlockFi - I suppose it’s possible it had that much left in it. Did the wires just get totally crossed between institutions during the bankruptcy proceedings?
