I don't think anything will change until client devs realize that the megarelays they onboard newbies to are Bitcoin topical relays, and the lists of recommended npubs they use are Bitcoin npubs.
Easy fix is do like Twitter did when I first joined a decade ago and suggest hash tags for people to follow
