Russian media report that the Su-57 fighter jet has been equipped with a new hypersonic missile, reportedly similar to the Zircon. Until now, the Zircon had only been deployed from naval vessels and ground-based launchers — this marks the first time such a weapon has been adapted for use by a combat aircraft.
