One of the most interesting #bitcoin insights I've heard this year is that it was not an invention, but rather a *discovery*, much like electricity or gravity, or maybe a bit closer to home, the difficulty of prime factorization, or Shannon Entropy. These are all phenomenon of the universe that just *are*; we didn't create them or invent them. We FOUND them.
