When people ask me why #Bitcoin or #Nostr, I always talk about giving people a voice. I have seen too many totalitarian governments ruin lives. Censoring #zaps is just the start.

Simple things like zapping your favorite content creators or thanking devs for their amazing work shouldn't be subject to the regulations of a corporation that has been profiting from our data for far too long. The fact this happened only shows we are on the right path.

Whatever it takes, we must keep building and supporting the people building the tools for our voices to be free. #[3]​ , #[4]​ ​ , all the Damus devs, and everyone building on Nostr are creating the foundations for us to control our data.
