Only Damus has this feature for now. Also Nostr:note causes other clients to open if you’ve installed them after Damus.

When more clients support statuses the cross compatibility will be important. Not sure what to do about the problem though on iOS because iOS doesn’t let you choose a default app for nostr: links.
I can make it so nostr: links always are handled by damus so that you can just do nostr: and it will work

The field for entering in the link seems to be a bit buggy. For example using capital D Damus makes it not work, and pasting something in the field deletes everything in there so I can’t edit in there.
I just copy a note id and compose it in a reply that i then delete

Wait i did install primal after damus and my status keeps me in damus when clicked. Maybe this was never an issue? Did you experience it nostr:npub1lrnvvs6z78s9yjqxxr38uyqkmn34lsaxznnqgd877j4z2qej3j5s09qnw5 ? Mine is still
