I didnt think I’d get to see the Eiffel Tower on this trip because every day was so jam packed. But it turns out my flight on the last day left at 6pm NOT 6am as I originally thought and that gave me a whole day to myself to explore! I know there’s a lot of controversy online about the Opening Ceremony and reports of crime in Paris. All I can speak on is my own experience & the energy being there live was electrifying! As for crime, the streets were mostly empty as all the Parisians left for holidays and never once did I feel unsafe. What is being reported and what I experienced for myself are worlds apart.
