this can't be the case for every traditions...

Some came from experience, and some came from beliefs.

Tradition that choose wrestling instead of bloody war : https://www.traditionalsports.org/traditional-sports/africa/njom-senegal.html

are a consequence of experience, when the both communities have loose too much people in a war battle.

But a tradition when you have to kill an animal just for pleasure like corrida, is not based on experience (it didn't came from a bull that has attack a human).

It just came a belief that if you can kill a bull, you have more power and masculinity than him. Which is a little stupid. Some corrida just kill bulls in the name of tradition.

I prefer the "bull games" when men have to touch the bull head or run around it without been hurt by it, it is a lot more difficult to do it. And both are traditions.

All the traditions are not the sames. Some have to be updated, some forgot, and some reminded.
