It is scary, and for good reasons.

Extremely powerful solar storms and their impactful CMEs can put Earth back to the pre-electrified era.

Think of fetching water from a stream as electric water pumps fail to supply H2O to cities and farms. No power to refineries or to pump natural gas through pipelines. All the basis & basics of our modern world are dependent upon advanced energy distribution systems.

It can be, yes. There’s a rule to go about to keep it within the cognitive manageability framework.

If you can control it, or do things that abate it’s impacts, then do those things and afterward stop fretting or worrying.

If there is nothing you can do and no way to prevent or prepare for the event(s), circumstance(s), or resultant after effect(s), stop worrying and go about your life.
