Masturbation of the people, by the people, for the people. Yeah isn't that an orgy? I don't think the logic makes sense. Is it voluntary? Is there individual consent?
what's going on in the world is like the opposite of institution. everything is being hacked apart, pirated, and rotted from the inside. plunder is the norm.
"* the people" is a fraud. within 25 years the federation of USA was turning into shit. the land is rich in minerals and fertility is why USA is rich. respect for private property isn't that much higher. a little, but like comparing a choker chain with a regular collar.
Well no, it's rich because of higher respect for private property than other areas. But only by a little bit. We could have been thriving if people weren't so statist or quick to believe fallacy and whim worship.

it's like the laffer curve - not to hot, not too cold, it's just right. the intersection between control and freedom is more optimal, because it funds a much more sophisticated control mechanism.
but megalomaniacs being what they are, are constantly tightening the collar and create blowback on themselves. the level of pressure being exerted by power on USA now is reaching a critical threshold. parasites without any sense of limitation of their power are running around fleecing and milking for as much as they can get, which is why they had to put a "strong man" in charge to "rein them in" (trump is to USA as putin is to RF).
so yeah, americans got used to a certain level of freedom, and when it drops too quickly, they get mad. that level is much higher than it is in russia or china, but the same things occur relative to their normals, which are the last generation or so of history, living memory.
i find it completely disgusting and objectionable, and i don't want to live around neutered, mind wiped zombies. my freedom level is much higher because i avoid going around with the people who are complacent with their servitude. and i dream of a day when society doesn't have these kinds of parasites dominating the story. i hope it comes within my lifetime, otherwise i'll just continue to be the weird monastic solitary frontier character and stay far from them.
