Saw synapse trigger in a friend who I've been working on for the better part of two years. They realized the dollar is debasing them at best practice by a targeted "2%" inflation rate mislabelled as growth.

He said he suddenly felt like he had an Epiphone. He seemed discouraged.

I saw it in his eyes. He realized the fiat money system is indeed broken. Unfixable. And going to continue on a trajectory of higher prices as infinitum until the currency is all but worthless.

It takes everyone many different touch points for various lengths of time depending on the amount they are truly willing to put the thought and time into all the avenues presented.

He's has some sats as on a hot wallet I think he's seen as in investment. I think today I finally saw it as insurance. At the very least he realized the dollar is fundamentally unsaleable. Cold storage finally approaching.

Working on a friend who bought some ETF. He’s still at the “diversification through the stock market is key” stage.

I started telling him about cold storage. I think he’s warming up.

Something really hit him today. Not sure what it was. He's been very willing to entertain my ridiculous conversations. He's also my co worker so we see each other daily.

But something really clicked today. He realized prices are never "going down" denominated in what he's earning.

My friend told me today: but the news said the inflation rate is going down, so the economy is good.
