I switched to Linux last year and am extremely happy. PopOS is very user friendly. You don’t need to use terminal commands unless you really want to.
PopOS is a great way to get into Linux. Sure your workflow will have to change and things might (initially) not work as seamless as you'd like, but it opens a new world into FOSS and there's tons of information on trouble shooting and customizing the experience to your liking
