I can’t see volatility coming down. Big buyers (ETFs) who are not price sensitive as they are spending other people’s money, competing for a dwindling supply sounds like a recipe for more volatility.

I think I disagree
I think the ETFs and the futures markets and all the other accoutrement of big finance will ultimately lead to a reduction in volatility because they make money off of the volatility which tends to drive it down
but it might be more volatile on the road to all that so while I think I'm right in the long term I might be wrong in the short term
or maybe I'm just dead wrong I don't know
