I have a question: if all you have is Bitcoin, then how do you live? I mean, if you're getting paid in Bitcoin, what do people think they'll spend? I'm curious to know...

Question: if all you have is CHF because you're from Switzerland but you travel a lot and still you only get paid in CHF, how do you live?

Convert to local currency. BTC is truly Global.

💯

And while we wait for people to just want sats on the other side, apps like strike with their latest update make this suuuuch beautiful process

There are a few options:

- Build your network of merchants who accept Bitcoin and develop local circular economies

- Trade Bitcoin for local currency as needed

- Spend sats on gift cards via services like BitRefill

I put everything on my credit card and sell a little when the bill is due.

Great point. Everyone had great answers. I get paid in $ but immediately convert everything (minus rent) every single time. Then I manage my life without thinking too much, using BTCco here and there for the most part... I always have extra sats, cause I save > spend.

I asked this question mainly because a lot of people's #1 complain is they just can't roll all in on Bitcoin because they can't get a loaf of bread for Bitcoin at their local grocery store. I'm thinking at that pace, even if (by miracle) that said store manages to accept Bitcoin they'll still find a way to say something else in their life needs to accept Bitcoin.

I'm confused. The Government wants to control our life and end it at every turn, meanwhile we look at Bitcoin like "You're not good enough for my lifestyle" before we adopt it.

Must be a Western 🌎 issue...
