It dawns on me that companies like Apple and Microsoft (and soon to be Disney et. al.) have exhausted their imagination.

MSTR exhausted theirs too but at least Mike has the sense to embrace that, move away from the thing that made them viable, and leverage the very thing that destroyed innovation: their [accreted corporate structure.

Programmers and designers are being replaced by traders and conjurers of debt structuring and finance.

Bitcoin is the legacy companies' innovation now. It's all that's left.

Microsoft never had an imagination. They always bought or copied innovation. Microsoft is never first, but they know how to come from behind. And no, that's not a usb stick in their pocket.
