Yesterday I built some new roosts for our chicken coop and stained some fence pickets. We decided to wrap our wicking beds in wood to match our fence.

The roosts are removable and we are trying sand under them for easy clean up. I like the deep litter method, but it seems to be too stinky here in the humid South. Not too shabby for building on my own while hubs was at the races with some friends.

Today is terribly windy. Trying to get my butt out there to do something besides just serving as a warm lap for the critters.
