Thanks for this helpful information. I'm looking into the OnePlus 9 vs the Samsung S20. Things important to me include screen dpi, ideally a headphone jack

I haven't looked into usbc to headphone adapters but I must have a quick way to switch to headset that doesnt deal with the unreliability of bluetooth

OnePlus fast charging seems like it's far better than the Samsung.

What things about the 1+9 do you not like

Sorry I missed this comment. I miss my headphone jack :(

But the other phones that had it (my Zenfone) are just miles behind the performance.

I really can't think of much bad about this phone at all. Sometimes the Bluetooth is not so great at going very far away from the source.

I also love the notification/volume switch to quickly put my phone on silent.

I looked into this further and while the OnePlus 9 doesn't have a headphone jack, it reportedly has a DAC allowing it to work with passthru USBC to headphone jack adapters (the cheap kind) vs Samsungs and Google Pixels which don't

I may end up getting one sooner rather than waiting a few more months. Price isn't going to change drastically from here and its inside targeted sweet spot.

If you spring for one, let me know how you like it. I got a feeling you will love it. The fast charging is stupid fast and the fingerprint reader in display is faster than lightning network.

I mean, it's only enabled if you set it up. If you prefer password or pin unlock you can just use that. Or... Facial recognition.
