Hence the way society revolves 🤷♂️. I can imagine that we'll see new state-run institutions rear their ugly heads at some point within the next decade or so. Replacing institutions like the Bank of England, the ECB, and the Federal Reserve and such.
I am still hopeful it won't get to that point.
I meant my previous statement to be more of a possibility than a certainty. And I'm right on board with you on that one, mate! I'm rather hopeful that we won't reach that point as well. That doesn't mean they won't try, though. To be frank, I believe that layer 2 solutions are doing an excellent job of proving that we no longer need them anyway, if we ever did. And they're only progressing.
Let's not forget that all of the government's nasty shit is extremely palpable at this point. No one can deny it.
