Dr. Jaya Goswami, a former Medical Officer at the FDA, moved to Moderna as Director of Clinical Development in treatments and vaccines for infectious diseases, right after her tenure at the FDA where she had oversight over vaccines and biologics clinical development​.

Former FDA Chairman Scott Gottlieb is now on the board of Pfizer, and former FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn joined Moderna.
