My Dad is recovering from two open heart surgeries on Friday.
Oh wow. What did he have done? Also, I been there. It's fucking rough. But humans are strong. Your love and support will go a very long way to help in his recovery.
Presented with lingering pneumonia. Turned out his heart valve was fucked and also needed a double bypass. Then after surgery got clotting in the chest cavity so had to be opened up again. It’s been 5 days since surgery and they may wake him up today. He was lucky. Hopefully he remains lucky.
