UFC Expands Web3 Integration with Fight.ID Funding
Fight.ID, an official partner for UFC Strike digital collectibles, has announced an expanded collaboration with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The company secured funding from institutional and angel investors, including Anthos Capital, Aptos Foundation, and UFC athletes, to further develop blockchain-powered fan experiences.
The investment will fuel the creation of a digital identity and loyalty system, a fighter prize pool mechanism, and premium merchandise within the Fight.ID ecosystem. Key Web3 functionalities planned include digital asset ownership for fans, programmable rewards, and enhanced community engagement.
