I found this with a simple Google search. PWA = progressive web app. Runs an app on the phone through a browser. Many self custodial wallets like Mutiny wallet run their applications this way.

nostrudel is currently my personal favourite client of all these days... used to be coracle but NIP-65 support was critical to my relay dev work and i just kept using it
