True lol. Although, local politicians are easier to reach than the ones on Capitol Hill. Voting became a joke for me a long time ago. I think voting on the Federal level is a waste of time. Most voting is, but again local government is more easily affected if the group is big enough because they can't hide behind 1000s of miles, You can shit on their doorstep and that is a little bit of power.
I mean, if you live in a place like Wichita, maybe. But there are 5 million people in my city 🤷♀️
