I was made to feel like a crazy person for not wanting to go into a bar that scanned your ID. Personally, I think it’s the conditioning to get us accustomed to being surveilled wherever we go. Curious as to others’ thoughts.

I went to a local concert asking for the same PLUS email PLUS phone number. I was like, wait but this is the ticket counter… I have $40 cash to cover this, I can’t just buy a ticket? I don’t get it. The printer is right there. You just push a button. This is the cost of the ticket. In my hand. I can pass it to you easily. What am I missing?
