They can't go into Egypt, Egyptians keep the border blocked probably scared they could be destabilized by 2 million refugees. And who pays for them?
They cannot even go into the sea, Israel imposed a blockade.

Nothing stops the rich Arab countries to provide enough sums of money for Egypt in order to convince them to open the borders and host them until hostilities are over. Just Qatar and Sauds could cover that many times. Except the fact that they don't want them out of Gaza. Because if they're out, Israelian homes will pop-up.
Egyptians are scared of war and Islamic movements intensifying with a 2 million refugees camp on its territory.
Israelis say they won't help "the enemy".
The US says Israel knows better what's good for them.
The West follows US.
