Lots of wildlife on my bushwalk today.

Roos, a large Red-Belly Black Snake and this guy, a Shingleback Lizard or stumpy tailed lizard as I've always called them.

Hola cómo estás?

Very well, thanks. I hope you and your family are well also.

Si gracias a Dios... En casa

He’s ok, snakes I cannot cope with!

Biggest Redbelly i think I've seen too, scared the crap out of me 😂

Red-bellies are beautiful but scary!

Hard pass

How big? I saw one a few years ago far bigger than I thought was possible, it was in what was usually paperbark wetlands but was dry at the time.

Bloody thing was watching us for about 10 minutes before it thought better of it. 😂

Around 1.8m, and thick like a mettwurst.

That's just a little one compared to this monster, I don't know what it's feeding on... 😜

🐍 Snake: Humans watched me for 10 minutes dude! 10 minutes! It freaked me out so I bolted. Humans! Damn terrifying!

😉

Seen how high the bastards can rear themselves up? 😬

I saw a brown snake on my walk yesterday at the Onkaparinga River National Park. It was only a small one though, I don’t think it was fully grown. Also plenty of kangaroos and birds around there.

I'm seeing snakes almost every walk lately, good on some ways, scary in others.

Nice stumpy. It’s the snake you don’t see that’s the problem 😂

Yeah the snake just shot off from beside the path

Love it's stumpy little legs 😆

They are pretty cute
