It’s a staple for us. And yeah I wouldn’t be able to find mushrooms without that scythe
I'v run across pig ears many times, have'nt tried them yet. Hows the taste and texture?
No taste really. The texture is nice to me, some people hate them.
We mainly use them for broths for nutrients since we get so many. I put them in soups a lot too

Yeah I’ve heard it’s the only species that’s safe raw.
I did try them but felt like I was eating an actual ear.
