I burned a bunch of scrap wood today that had been piling up. I used the drum from a dryer. I think this will be good for making #biochar
Ash should rinse out the holes in the bottom when I put it out. Might try to find something for a lid

So you want no airflow coming in from the bottom, you want the wood to cook without oxygen, flames only at the top layer.
