This is very relevant for me now actually. Going to reference this for a landing page design I need to do today for BOLT.FUN -- need to let companies and organisations know they can also use the platform to list their own hackathons. I'll give feedback then.

I'm working on a comment/opinionis plugin for websites where I add a reference to the content that is hidden on the site using the plugin. You might consider this, too, for the sake of better integration with the wider nostr ecosystem.
Your event has a valid r-tag but clients like noStrudel don't show these if not used in the content.
