Why would anyone want to match your email address to your npub?

That’s what sparked it. But the question is generic as others will do the same if there is an incentive to do so. What would the incentive be?

KYC is their inventive. For the user, there is no incentive.

Once you have that match, there is a whole lot of data to retrieve via events and attach to it.
