The problem with socialism isn’t the ideals — the ideals are the most beautiful: everyone is equal, we take care of the poorest, and so on.

The problem is that it absolutely does not work and often produces the opposite effects (even more poor people).

The problem is that people vote based on their ideals.

The problem is that people vote even though they don’t have the skills to know what actually works. 🙂
