It's funny, I've been contemplating a similar dilemma all morning. Most people I talk to in the USA don't care about Bitcoin because they're under the delusion that there's nothing wrong with the current monetary system. Or they pretend to care about some perceived flaw in Bitcoin, such as they can't physically touch one. Americans have been so indoctrinated for so long that they can no longer see the forest through the trees.
