Indeed, the “it’s too complicated to understand” excuse sounds ridiculous once you fall down the rabbit hole, it is more of an “I am too busy and lazy to try to understand it”
For me Bitcoin's greatest gift are bitcoiners. Bitcoin brought together the toughest people you can think of.

And here I was... thinking that is greatest gift was providing an actual form of money (commoditized bearer instrument that's pegged to energy & also a store of value thanks to difficulty adjustments and halvings) that is centered around the principle of Trust Minimization, which makes it unstoppable, uncensorable, uncorruptible, non-counterfeitable, and easily verifiable. So amazing how many problems it solves by removing the remove on humans. Bitcoin is "AI Money" when you think about it...
