since these restrictions are placed on the off-ramps of crypto, such as exchanges, couldn't these regulations just accelerate the Bitcoin circular economy as the solution to getting around them is to just not off-ramp?
The EU is taking aim at self-custody wallet payments, increasing the tracking of crypto transfers, and banning privacy coins such as Monero. Many of these changes are to take place this week.
