I’ve offered nostr:nprofile1qqs0m40g76hqmwqhhc9hrk3qfxxpsp5k3k9xgk24nsjf7v305u6xffcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnjv4kxz7t9wgh8xef0nmtggn for an open debate and yet no reply.

Could it be he realizes he is the one to benefit the most if knots 🪢 succeeds?

One example below 🔻🔻🔻

I mean Knots can evolve into a team structure to have multiple maintainers just like Core?

They could but I don’t see how it’s mathematically plausible.

What's not "mathematically" plausible??

Bitcoin core owns 95%

Bitcoin knots is less than 1 %

but that doesn’t matter

Luke owns #knots & if when he leaves ( humans die after all ) so would knots. It’s not logical choice based solely on him being the one owner.

Beyond that: Luke has used misinformation to guide his career & get others to buy off on knots. 🪢 IF people read the #Satoshi #white #paper & understood the #proofofwork & #scalability it’s already shown this would be a non-issue.

Note, many in #core ( or early #btc adopters don’t speak online ) are already living their best lives. #knots from my view is just another form of exploitation…

But hey, you don’t have to trust me … trust #Satoshi as their words already proved all that. 😂🤙✨

Knots node share is over 20% now

Well this is new information for me. Oh well. They are destined to fail. 😂✨🤙

I'll keep an open mind. It’s not that hard to just not merge a contentious change. Core is basically asking for Knots to be relevant ... and if I’m Luke, I’d take advantage of that.

Maybe Core can’t be opinionated as the reference, fine.

But Knots is where some/most Bitcoiners line up. And like Tomer said, this is just the reality now ... Knots is here to stay if Core won’t listen. Core’s being questioned, and rightfully so.

We agree on questioning everything.

Outdated. Or maybe just wrong... Other clients at 4℅ is way too high.

This may be. FFS 🙈

I could actually make a reasonable case why knots could be good but they’re all such dumb unreasonable jerks.

I’m not gonna do it for them. Let them bury their selves.

I'm hoping we'll get a stronger bitcoin out of this. I care less about the specific arguments on either side than that there's a real possibility that bitcoin will actually look like a protocol in the future. A protocol is agnostic about specific clients. I don't think our work is done in this fight until we have at least 5 clients with credible node share each.

Stated my goals clearly earlier

1. Bitcoin standard as currency or we already failed ( cause we have IMO in #USA )

2. 99% rise and demand their freedoms from top 1%

Too simple but definitely idealistic

I would hope so.

I'd imagine at some point he's got no choice but to pull in another maintainer or something.

>> but this is maintainer status <<

So... it's gotta be someone who can impress Luke, line up with Knots, and actually know Core deep >> if it's even possible to convince Luke they qualify LOL

Luke is actively supporting and encouraging more implementations. 100% Knots is not the end goal. Knots is the bomb shelter we’re all squeezing into until we rebuild.

He doesn't strike me as very social.

No idea. Just made a basic analysis.

The one of him facing the nameless faces representing #Satoshi #Nakamoto is probably my favorite. To dishonor the memory & gift of #Bitcoin …

#Satoshi and what they did will always be judged by the #blockchain ( hence the judge )
