No it’s not. The middle ground should look something like their side abandoning the fork and your side publicly acknowledging that you should have listened to users and that Core 30 was handled wrong (even if some still believe it is technically correct). Set up a summit and try to resolve the issues and come up with a solution that doesn’t lead to a divide in the community.
