Pow is done client side and it's up to relays to accept or reject. For the client side i was thinking about having ways to declare a post as needing a certain amount of pow to reply to, might be an interesting feature to filter spammy replies clientside. Right now there aren't any relays that do anything with pow, but perhaps soon once we have a NIP

Yeah the branle one only mines 10 bits which should take under a second to mine.
20 bits should be a minute or so?
