If freedom tech is actually meant to be freedom tech, and not “enable me and people who like the stuff I do, to do it more” tech - then it needs to be for everyone. Especially for those who don’t look or think like you.

I will never support hate speech/actions. I’ll never support harassment.

That being said, freedom tech means that people who do like to spew that kind of sewage can have their space to do so. It means that the same effort put into an individuals ability to communicate their perspective freely, should also be put into giving another individual the ability to shut out the first users presence.

I am pro banishment to the void for creeps, racists and assholes alike. Feel free to be censorship free and decentralized on my mute list (or whatever permutation of this idea eventually comes around).
