Reality: North America has had dismal forest management practices for the last half venture that have turned our forests into a literal tinderbox. It’s also more than just a lack of trust. Many scientific concepts (like bitcoin mining!) are complex and difficult to understand. We as a society have a really bad habit of reading one thing and then thinking that we understand the issue without digging deep. That trait has gotten far worse and is frequently abused by the media. They no longer need to provide real evidence.
