Man, I first heard of bitcoin in 2010-11 in a bar in Spain and couldn’t really get my head around how to get any, then forgot about it until 2016-17. Stupidly bought the narrative that Bitcoin was tech that would get superseded by something like Ripple, Eth and Stellar. Held onto those shitcoins until 2021 when I started to actually explore bitcoin properly - I realised that there must be something to this thing if it’s not going away. The decentralisation and non-hierarchy speaks to my politics. Wish I’d paid attention earlier though.
